Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Recent, relevant experience in the Operating Room environment
• Proficient with set-up, handling, and maintenance of surgical instruments and sterile fields
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate surgical team needs and maintain a safe, efficient OR environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize OR equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Ensure sterile technique is maintained at all times
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies
• Collaborate closely with RNs, surgeons, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support pre-operative and post-operative setup and breakdown of the surgical suite

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel contract position; scheduling details provided during interview
