Search Solution Group is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner on behalf of our client, a leading global manufacturer of convenience foods. This role serves as a strategic advisor to site leadership, driving human capital strategies that support current and future business priorities. The Senior HR Business Partner plays a key role in strengthening organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance while delivering HR programs that drive measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an active member of the Management Team and champion culture, engagement, and change initiatives.
- Cascade strategic business and site objectives across all levels of the organization.
- Act as a strategic HR consultant, identifying opportunities to leverage people and teams for competitive advantage.
- Interpret, communicate, and ensure consistent adherence to HR policies and practices.
- Facilitate employee engagement using surveys, focus groups, interviews, and one-on-one interactions.
- Develop and drive site-level engagement plans aligned to the voice of the employee.
- Partner with leadership to establish future-ready people plans including staffing, development, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee HRIS accuracy, payroll processes, time and attendance, and leave management.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees to resolve issues and support performance.
- Lead site training initiatives such as leadership training, coaching, team building, health and safety, food safety, and orientations.
- Drive company Core Values as foundational behaviors for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain required documentation.
- Conduct internal investigations, interventions, and risk assessments aligned to company values.
- Support employee health and benefits program communication including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and FSA plans.
- Maintain professionalism under pressure and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Use data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity, develop targeted programs, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Provide oversight of Food Safety & Quality responsibilities within area of HR influence to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of high-level HR generalist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience managing HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, benefits, talent, and training programs.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements and technical documentation.
- Strong report writing, correspondence development, and presentation skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to questions from leadership, clients, customers, and employees.
- Strong analytical ability, particularly in identifying trends and using data to drive decisions.
- HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employment laws, compliance standards, and organizational development principles.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards is a plus.
