Forklift Operator

Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a 2nd Shift opportunity with a growing warehouse and distribution operation.


Pay:$19.40/hr.
Schedule: 2nd Shift


Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and process orders
• Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage
• Secure loads and ensure proper storage of materials
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience
• Valid forklift certification preferred
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills for inventory and order verification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
