Part-Time Mail Clerk

Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a local organization in the Alexandria, VA area seeking a dependable and trustworthy Part-Time Mail Clerk to provide mail delivery and general office support across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to work independently while traveling between office sites. Responsibilities : Use a company vehicle to transport and deliver mail between various office locations. Serve as a backup resource for mailroom and delivery operations. Sort, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail as needed. Operate office copiers and other standard office equipment to assist staff. Provide general administrative and office support as requested. Pack and prepare orders or materials for pickup and delivery. Safely handle and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when traveling between locations and handling mail or other materials. Follow established procedures for mail delivery, office equipment, and vehicle use. Qualifications/Background Profile : Valid driver's license required. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of office support, mailroom, administrative, or related experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable traveling between multiple office locations using a company vehicle. Basic computer and office equipment skills. Experience operating copiers and other standard office equipment is a plus. Must be trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
