Corporate Accounting Analyst

Our client, an Investment Management firm in Midtown, NY, is looking for an experienced accountant to join their accounting team! The role will include invoice reconciliation, journal entries, and management of AP/AR Processing. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking, personable accountant looking for a new challenge. Job Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc. Perform and review general ledger functions to assist with monthly accounting activity and closings. Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to general ledger, and may review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post entries to general ledger accounts and to document business transactions. Prepare reports on a monthly basis, including forecasts, operation expense reports and others. Other ad hoc requests as needed.
