TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Oncology RN in Topeka, Kansas, 66604!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Oncology/Hematology) – Kansas

Start Date: October 5, 2026 (additional bi-weekly orientation dates available through November 30, 2026)

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend rotation, 2 federal holidays per year plus additional spring and winter holidays

Highlights:

• Specialized 21-bed unit providing comprehensive care for hematological and oncology diagnoses, palliative and hospice care, and medically complex patients
• Staffing ratios of 1:6 (1:4 with active chemotherapy infusing) ensuring quality patient care
• Epic charting system with test-out option available for experienced users
• 26-week contract posted with preference for extended contracts up to 51 weeks
• Work within a Magnet-designated, nonprofit integrated health system committed to nursing excellence and High Reliability Organization culture
• Opportunity to provide inpatient chemotherapy, symptom management, and supportive care for progressive diagnoses

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (clean background required, no exceptions)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• ADN or BSN degree
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; oncology/hematology experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Vaccination requirements: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella immunity or proof of vaccination, TDaP, Influenza (or exemption), and TB documentation
• Willingness to float to other post-surgical floors and medical-surgical inpatient units
