Step into a rewarding role supporting K-5 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a highly collaborative school-based setting. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, providing the perfect opportunity to work closely with teachers and families while fostering growth and progress among elementary-aged children.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
- Active SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Knowledge of teletherapy practices is a plus
- SLPA certification and school-based experience are welcomed
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-5 students with communication or language disorders
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in student meetings
- Support integration of therapy goals within classroom environments
- Utilize teletherapy platforms, as needed, to reach students effectively
- Mentor and collaborate with speech assistants, if applicable
