Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Pre-op / Phase I & Phase II)

Location

Anacortes, WA | Ambulatory Surgery / Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (unit hours 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; staffing coverage 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Pre-operative, Phase I (PACU), and Phase II recovery settings
• Support patient care within a Monday–Friday surgical unit environment
• Fulfill on-call obligations, expected at approximately 3–4 shifts per month, including 1 weekend day (24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM) and 2–3 weekday evening/overnight call shifts (5:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions through all phases of perioperative care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact license eligibility
• Experience in Pre-op, Phase I (PACU), and/or Phase II recovery nursing
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery or outpatient operating room setting
• Familiarity with perioperative nursing workflows and patient assessment across all phases of care
• BLS and ACLS certification
