About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the Operating Room with orthopedics and sports medicine preferred. License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience with the patient population ranging from 6 months to adult. - Ability to work rotating start times between 07:00 and 09:00. - Willingness to participate in short call requirements. Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Pediatric Operating Room. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room, with a preference for experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. The nurse will provide care to patients aged 6 months to adult, ensuring safety and quality in surgical procedures. First-time candidates are welcome to apply. While weekend work is not currently required, flexibility for occasional short call is necessary. Skill sets should include proficiency in scrub roles for orthopedic surgeries. Professional references are required from two of the last three places worked, and these references must come from different facilities. Local candidates are accepted. The facility requires compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.
