Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2 NICU position in Rochester, NY, requiring an active NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Level 2 NICU unit, aligned with Women's Health services rather than critical care
• Cares for neonatal patients at 33 weeks gestation and above
• Must be able to perform baby catch in the OR for C-section cases
• Some floating required to the Postpartum unit for newborn care
• Day/Night rotating shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
• Rotating weekend requirement
• 8-week contract with possibility of extension
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not eligible; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Any time off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
