Success for incumbents in this role includes being able to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the teams ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately. Also, helps facilitate local client relationships by being the liaison between our clients and the pharmacy. Providing ongoing client support to help identify opportunities to drive customer satisfaction./ppKey responsibilities include the replenishment, audit, and support for ADU cabinets installed at our customers facilities. Customer service/liaison representative. This includes driving to and from the facilities in company owned vehicles and ensuring regulatory compliance inside and outside of the pharmacy./ppPrimary Job Duties Responsibilities:/pp1. ADU Support - 70%/pulliResponsible for ADU operation, appearance/cleanliness, quick reference guide replacement/liliRestocking / destocking ADUs with medication located at Omnicare serviced facilities/liliCompleting monthly medication audits of ADUs (inspect and verify med qty, expiration, damage, etc)/liliADU software and user database maintenance/liliReview ADU reports for discrepancies, errors, and dispensing data/liliTrain facility staff training as needed on ADU operation/liliSupport coordination of New ADU installation; pharmacy and facility readiness including initial ADU inventory, user set-up, etc./liliResponsible for troubleshooting ADU issues with the facility and pharmacy/liliReview and complete ADU policies, training and SOPs yearly/liliLog deliveries and return accompanying documents as appropriate./liliKeep facility ADUs operating at optimal levels by providing product and monitoring inventory/liliMaintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations/liliMaintain highest professional and ethical standards/liliResponsible for alerting management for maintenance issues./liliMaintain safe operation of Omnicare owned vehicles/liliUse of mobile phones and applications to navigate your route using basic internet applications and GPS functions per designated route sequence/liliReview and complete Driver Safety policies, training and SOPs yearly/li/ulp2. Pharmacy Technician - 20%/pulliPartner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned functions that prepare and process medications./liliFollow policy and procedures for the proper non-sterile and/or sterile product compounding and assembly of clinical products/liliMay prepare medications by measure, mix, count out, label and record amounts and dosages of highly regulated medications according to prescription orders following Long Term Care Pharmacy policies, regulations, and procedures./liliPerforms compliance tasks and the related activities in support of the DEA and controlled medication dispensing process./liliFill all Narcotic prescriptions for all facilities as directed (inclusive of all controlled STAT labels/prescriptions)/liliAssist with workflow coordination/liliEnsure and maintain a safe and clean work environment/liliRotate and work within assigned pharmacy workstations, to safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions all while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations. Workstations include Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging/liliResponsible for preparing the finished prescription as well as other light warehouse duties./liliResponsible to receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely./liliPerform physical inventories./liliSort all baskets from PV2 according to facility units, location, and delivery times/liliScans all medication pending for delivery/liliPrepares manifests and ancillary paperwork to correspond to appropriate nursing facility./liliRetrieve medication totes from PV2 pharmacists that are to be scanned for delivery (STATs included)/liliCheck bins before delivery departure for missed meds/liliDuring down times assist pharmacy floor for additional support./liliScans manifests into system for confirmation of delivery./liliFollow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA./liliTake important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients, and they demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times./liliMaintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations/liliMaintain highest professional and ethical standards/li/ulp3. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
