Construction Project Coordinator – Moncrief Cancer Institute (943747) is based in Fort Worth, TX. Job Summary The Moncrief Cancer Institute seeks an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to lead construction, renovation, and facilities improvement projects at our Fort Worth campus. Working under minimal supervision, the coordinator will manage the full lifecycle of projects and programs, exercising independent judgment to ensure all initiatives support a safe, patient‑focused environment. This proactive leader will plan and coordinate new construction, remodels, and day‑to‑day facilities initiatives while maintaining rigorous documentation and progress reporting. Responsibilities Develop construction schedule in conjunction with Production Control, Building Managers, and leadership. Read and interpret architectural plans and contract documents; develop estimates for materials and place orders accordingly. Coordinate scheduling of trades during construction phase; preferred knowledge of scheduling software. Inspect job site on an ongoing basis to ensure timely and accurate work. Prepare change orders and obtain approval from leadership. Give contractor tentative approval to proceed and obtain final approval from Assistant Director as appropriate. Act as liaison with users to respond to concerns and obtain approval for any changes in plans or costs. Prepare punch list, conduct final inspection, and review final billing upon completion of project. Secure permits and inspections. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or vocational school completion. 5 years of construction industry experience at a journeyman level. 2 years of supervisory level experience.
