We invite you to join our dedicated team in Dallas, TX, where you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.**Why this position is perfect for you?*** **Schedule that supports your lifestyle:** Work 7on/7off scheduling, allowing you ample time to recharge, pursue personal interests and maintain a healthy work-life balance.* **Be a part of our dynamic team:** Work with 40 hospitalist physicians and APPs* **Ability to work with Residents:** Be a part of growing and shaping new Hospitalists**Job Requirements:*** Must be willing to work Nocturnist position* Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)* Must be ABIM Certified* Must have active Texas Medical License and DEA* Must have at least two (2) years of Hospitalist experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center**Job Responsibilities:*** Collaborate and communicate effectively with other physicians, APPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals* Conduct thorough physical assessment and medical histories of hospitalized patients* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory tests, to make accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and test results* Develop and implement patient tailored treatment plans* Provide patient and family education regarding their condition and treatments* Maintain accurate medical records and follows the standard practices of documentation* Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance* Stay up to date on evidence-based practices relevant to hospital medicine and follow hospital-based protocolsMethodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated hospital and was ranked by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2023 as one of the top 150 places to work.
