This department of war enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos digital modernization sector is seeking an experienced SME scrum master to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as scrum master for two agile product teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure team alignment with program increment (PI) objectives and release train commitments within the SAFe construct.
• Partner with product owners to maintain healthy backlogs, clearly defined user stories, and prioritized work aligned to WDP objectives.
• Track and report agile performance metrics including velocity, sprint burndown, predictability measures, and flow efficiency.
• Identify and remove team-level impediments while escalating cross-team risks and dependencies to the release train engineer (RTE).
• Foster continuous improvement through inspect & adapt practices and actionable retrospective outcomes.
• Support coordination of dependencies across DevSecOps, systems engineering, cybersecurity, data engineering, and user support teams delivering WDP capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to agile best practices while maintaining compliance with contractual milestones and delivery schedules.
• Coach team members on agile principles, lean thinking, and high-performing team behaviors.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and psychological safety within and across product teams.
