ComForCare Home Care is hiring an experienced Caregiver for an afternoon/evening in-home senior care position in Wheaton, Illinois . This opportunity is ideal for a dependable caregiver who enjoys providing personalized support, companionship, and hands-on assistance to older adults.

Position Details

Position: Experienced Caregiver
Schedule: Afternoon / Evening Shift
Hours: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: Wheaton, Illinois
Experience: Previous caregiving experience preferred

How You'll Make an Impact
Your care will help a senior client feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their evening routine.

• Provide compassionate one-on-one in-home senior care .
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide personal care while protecting the client's dignity and independence.
• Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention.
• Help with evening meals, snacks, and hydration.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Help the client prepare for their nighttime routine.
• Provide medication reminders according to the established care plan.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate care team.
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings experience, reliability, and genuine compassion to every shift.

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred .
• Experience with senior care, elderly care, in-home care, personal care, companion care, or private duty care .
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home care experience is a plus.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Dependable, patient, respectful, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently in a client's home.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
