About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to redefine behavioral health infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing a go-to-market strategy, with a focus on selling directly to behavioral health provider organizations. This role demands a proven track record in this sector, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership position. The VP of Sales will be instrumental in personally owning and closing the provider pipeline, as well as in the development of the sales function, from the initial phase of direct sales to the eventual scaling of the team. A deep understanding of the payer landscape, including Medicare, Medicaid managed care, and commercial insurers, is essential, as is the ability to translate the platform's value into financial terms that resonate with provider organizations. The ideal candidate will have a builder's mentality, with a history of standing up or scaling a sales function, and will be adept at engaging with clinicians and extending the sales motion to systems of care accounts. Collaboration with the executive team on pricing, compensation, and the broader outcomes narrative is a key aspect of the role. While not mandatory, familiarity with EHR systems used in behavioral health and the health IT landscape, including interoperability concepts, is preferred. The role offers a unique opportunity for a sales leader to make a significant impact, not only on revenue growth but also on the company's mission to serve vulnerable populations.
