Use hand and power tools safely and responsibly, avoiding injuries and damage to property. Contact customers prior to installations to verify schedules. Prepare estimates following prescribed instructions or supervisor directions. Follow schematic wiring diagrams and hook‑up procedures. Test system operation to the signal‑receiving center to establish service. Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required. Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and manage notification records for emergency calls. Manage installation teams on larger projects (if applicable) and coach/mentor less experienced installers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 5+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings. Ability to operate hand and power tools. Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely at all times. Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service. Compensation Hourly rate: $26.06 – $35.82, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
