Service Project Manager

Trane Technologies in Ft. Worth, TX is hiring a Service Project Manager to join our Service Sales team. The role involves quoting and entering service work, ordering parts and supplies, and ensuring that all service work is scheduled and executed. Location and Work Schedule Monday to Thursday, work onsite with colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location based on work requirements. Responsibilities Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects, financial performance, and the highest level of customer satisfaction. Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives involving complex service applications. Create estimates and generate proposals. Enter projects, order parts, track parts, schedule labor internally and with customers, review project completion, and coordinate billing. Issue purchase orders and generate work orders for service estimates. Manage service projects from estimate to completion. Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals. Assist sales in developing projects as needed. Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff to maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and implementing corrective action. Ensure that all assigned staff and subcontractors work safely per Trane and OSHA policies. Less than 5% travel to customer job sites. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in HVAC project management or HVAC field service/installation work. Practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles are prioritized for candidates without a four‑year degree. Knowledge of contracting processes, estimating for HVAC system installation, and subcontractor management preferred. Essential computer skills. Highly organized and strong customer‑service orientation. Compensation Annual base salary range: $91,516.66 – $128,379.99. Salary type: salary. Incentive eligible: Yes.
