FamilyLife Services LLC is hiring dependable and attentive Overnight Direct Support Professionals to provide awake overnight supervision and support to residents in our residential homes.

This is a fully awake overnight position responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents throughout the night while maintaining accurate documentation and responding appropriately to resident needs or emergencies.

The ideal candidate is observant, responsible, professional, and able to work independently during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide awake overnight supervision for residents throughout the shift
• Ensure the safety and security of the home during overnight hours
• Complete required overnight documentation and shift notes
• Administer or assist with medications as assigned and document accurately (if certified)
• Monitor blood pressure readings, blood sugar readings, and other required health tracking (if certified)
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, behaviors, or resident needs during the night
• Communicate important updates to incoming staff and supervisors
• Assist with housekeeping duties and maintain a clean environment
• Support residents during occasional overnight outings, appointments, trips, or vacations as assigned
• Follow all FamilyLife Services policies and procedures
• Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience working in residential care, healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred
• Medication aide, CPR, First Aid, and DSP certifications are welcome but not required
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently overnight
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Must be able to lift more than 20 pounds and navigate stairs regularly
