We are currently hiring special education teachers for job opportunities in the Stamford, CT area for the 2026/2027 school year. We are open to full-time candidates. We are interested in working with special education teachers who have a passion for making a difference in students' lives by providing differentiated instruction to help them achieve academic success. Sign On Bonus $1000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct childcare services, including serving as the childs teacher.

• Assist in implementing the classroom plan according to state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agencys policy and procedures.

• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning through implementing program planning.

• Maintain professional growth through professional development opportunities.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or the School Principal as needed.

Experience:

• Bachelors/masters degree in special education

• CT Department of Education Teachers Certificate: Special Education
