Medical Assistant

Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) is looking for compassionate Medical Assistant's to fill open positions within our clinics. Hours will vary based on the needs of the clinic. ( Responsibilities will include assisting with rooming of patients, taking patient histories and vitals, scheduling appointments and follow-up contacts regarding appointments. These positions will also work directly with the physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and complete medical records for each patient. Computer skills and dependability are a requirement. Successful candidates would have prior clinical experience with preference given to applicants with extensive medication and medical terminology knowledge. Willing to train candidates with excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude. Must be a team player that is able to multi-task and be efficient within a fast-paced environment.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works in heated and air-conditioned area; may be exposed to infectious material and contagious conditions including exposure to patient body fluids, including blood and contaminated sharps; potential for exposure to hazardous disinfecting chemicals; must follow universal precautions and utilize personal protective equipment.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour
