Job Overview Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology seeks a Regional Business Director to support the Bay Area and lead the region’s sales and clinical teams in achieving business goals. Key Responsibilities Drive top‑line sales results in the assigned region in line with the business plan. Define and manage monthly and annual sales objectives for all regional sales and clinical personnel. Set and meet sales and profit targets for the US Sales & Field Service organization. Provide accurate sales forecasts, develop and execute tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives. Manage the region’s expense budget and ensure adherence to pricing models and expense reporting. Coach, develop, and manage direct reports, including Territory Managers and Clinical Account Specialists. Oversee per‑diem clinical support, ensuring budgetary allowance and customer interactions meet internal standards. Develop clinical proficiency and certification programs in partnership with the Clinical Education Manager. Enhance the sales and negotiation proficiencies of territory managers. Recruit, develop, and retain talent, including selection, performance management, succession planning, and retention initiatives. Develop and execute company commercial, field training, product, and services marketing strategies. Implement customer relationship strategies to maintain effective relationships with key clinical and commercial stakeholders. Build strong relationships within the region with key customers. Lead organizational development and change initiatives, including the pod organizational model. Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales Operations) to develop and execute region strategic plans. Participate in national projects for the field organization and create a high‑engagement team environment. Assess market conditions and develop competitive strategies to grow market share. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental practices, and company regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred. Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in the medical device or related industry. Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience in the U.S. medical device industry OR 2 years of sales management experience in the healthcare industry. Field trainer or project leadership experience. Minimum 2 years of business experience in cardiac electrophysiology or cardiovascular industry. Capital selling experience preferred.
