Working in collaboration across a team of practitioners, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.**Responsibilities:*** You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner* You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.* You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols* Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction* Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team* Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds**Requirements:*** High School Diploma or GED* Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training Course* MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire* CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations does not require the MA-P* Current BLS Certification* Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred**About Mary Bridge Children’s** For more than 70 years, MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network has cared for children and families across the South Sound. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.00 - $41.32 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
