Our organization is currently looking for a Family Medicine Physician who is dedicated to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. This position is based in a rural family practice environment with obstetrics requirements, located in Fruitland, Idaho.

The Fruitland Health Plaza is a multi-specialty facility catering to the healthcare needs of Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. The services provided at this location encompass family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and orthopedic care. Additionally, we offer on-site laboratory, x-ray, and CT services. The role includes obstetrics, with deliveries occurring at our regional medical center in Ontario, just a 10-minute drive from Fruitland. There is also the possibility to engage in newborn nursery care and inpatient pediatrics if desired. Due to the rural setting of this position, physicians may be eligible for state loan repayment benefits.

This full-time role follows a traditional clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring at least 32 hours of patient contact time that includes obstetrics. General call is set at 1:6, with specific OB hospital call responsibilities to be determined.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program;
• Board certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment;
• Idaho medical licensure to practice in all aspects of medicine;
• Valid registration for controlled substances with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA.
