Performs automated and manual analysis that requires a complex network of steps and variables. Responsible to file test results in the computer.Operates and maintains clinical laboratory instruments or equipment.Maintains a proper inventory of reagents, controls or media. Routinely follows prescribed procedures for preparation. Evaluates and labels reagents, controls and media.Conducts required quality control and quality improvement procedures. Continually evaluates results of quality control.Maintains continued competence of technical skills and professional image.Collects and prepares human samples for analysis. Performs all functions of a Laboratory Aide in the area of specialty. Prepares, stores, or transports samples.AdditionalImplements new methods. Accurately performs comparison studies of precision, accuracy, linearity, cost and suitability on new or existing procedures.
