Weekly for 40 hours : $3,200 weekly ($20/hr w2 + $2,400 week stipend)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures while ensuring the highest level of patient care, safety, and procedural efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory and is proficient in operating specialized imaging and monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Prepare the catheterization laboratory, equipment, and sterile field before procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and other specialized Cath Lab equipment.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures.
• Administer contrast media and medications as directed and within scope of practice.
• Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
• Document procedures, patient information, and equipment usage accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist with post-procedure patient care, room turnover, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in emergency procedures, including STEMI and code response, as required.
• Rotate on-call coverage for emergency cardiac procedures.

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 2
• Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS
