Job Type: Full-time, Exempt opportunity

Starting Salary Range: $76,500 - $89,500 per year (based on experience and licensure)

Full Service Partnership (FSP) Stipend: $3,000 per year (In addition to the salary, the position is eligible for the stipend)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:

• Highly skilled clinical practitioner who demonstrates active self-awareness, maintains impeccable boundaries and can manage stressful situations
• Possesses crisis communication and clinical stabilization techniques consistent with the agency's trauma informed care philosophy
• Practice consistent with code of ethics related to safeguarding individual's rights, using temporary psychiatric holds as the last means of intervention to ensure the individual's safety
• Ensure the successful resolution of a psychiatric emergency including closing the feedback loop with the caregiver/family and treatment team on what to expect after the crisis has been resolved
• Available to respond to all crisis calls from the FRC division during business hours and after hours. 24 hours/5 days per week, and provide phone coordination and clinical support to staff
• Provide in-person crisis response and LPS assessment to all clients in FRC as well as FSP/WRAPAROUND clients, 24 hours up to 5 days a week, this includes weekends. Complete LPS (5585, 5150) hold application as needed
• Complete all applicable DMH documentation and submit within the 24-hour timeline
• Attend and participate in FRC meetings, including FRC management meetings, FSP, and Wraparound meetings as needed
• Coordinate and facilitate LPS updates for FRC Leadership.
• Consult with clinical and supervisory staff to ensure continuity of care
• Ensure documentation and reporting meets the contract and organization's standards of clinical and Wraparound fidelity, accuracy, and timeliness
• Practices consistent with the agency's expectations around child abuse/neglect reporting, HIPAA, and ethical and professional standards
• Provide Wraparound and FSP Therapists weekly clinical individual and clinical group supervision, which includes signing off on clinical hours
• Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in a mental health-related field plus three years of experience in a crisis-oriented program (FSP, Wraparound, residential, or similar program)
• Must be licensed and registered with the BBS or Board of Psychology.
• Two-year post-licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of DMH paperwork, coordinated services, and rehabilitative MHS in California is highly preferred
• LPS certified preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• LCSW preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage crises and provide leadership to staff during crisis situations
• Valid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
