Birth Defects Data Specialist & Medical Records Abstractor

The Tennessee Birth Defects Surveillance System (TNBDSS) within the Family Health and Wellness Division of the Tennessee Department of Health is hiring a Medical Record Coordinator and Abstractor in Nashville for a full-time hybrid role, with 1–2 onsite visits monthly at the Central Office. You will request medical records, verify births data, extract information, enter it into the iCMS system, and work with hospital HIM staff to improve data processes while maintaining HIPAA compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Technology, Inc.
