Senior Controls Engineer

work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

Independently develop, configure, and program DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems (including Siemens and Rockwell) for process automation in a hazardous chemical manufacturing facility.
Efficiently troubleshoot control system hardware and software, implement corrective actions, and assist with loop and interlock tests for new processes and annual ISO calibrations.
Establish the engineering design basis and create comprehensive design documentation (e.g., PFDs, PIDs, interlock matrices) for new and existing facilities in compliance with department standards.
Champion a Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time culture by actively participating in Design Reviews and PHAs, while applying strict codes for hazardous materials handling.
