About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the information security efforts across multiple client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic security coordination, including the seamless management of site security programs and collaboration with client leadership and technical support teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness. This role involves the development and enforcement of security policies, adherence to industry standards and best practices, and the ability to adapt to the evolving threat landscape. The CISO will also be tasked with conducting risk assessments, managing compliance, and overseeing the development and execution of action plans to address security concerns. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in a prior CISO role. Deep security expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of professionals are essential. The role requires a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader capable of connecting technical activities with client institutions' strategic goals and driving continuous improvement in security posture through a collaborative approach. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are preferred.
