Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

On-Call: None

Weekend Requirement: Possible

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel assignment in Ohio. The ideal candidate is confident providing compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery phases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Assess and manage pain while educating patients and families on pain control options.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and patient education.
• Safely administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech.
• Coordinate patient care while promoting a safe environment for patients and families.
• Support and educate families throughout the childbirth experience.
• Maintain required competencies and bedside testing proficiency.

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience – Required
✅ Postpartum and Nursery experience – Required
✅ Active Ohio RN License or Compact License at the time of submission – Required
✅ ACLS (AHA) – Required
✅ BLS (AHA) – Required
✅ NRP – Required
✅ BSN Degree – Preferred
✅ Updated Resume
