Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Neuro unit within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift in a fast-paced neurological and intensive care environment
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed
• Adhere to all required certifications and unit protocols; BLS and NIHSS certifications required prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Kentucky
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro or ICU specialty nursing
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience working in a facility with advanced cardiac or neurosurgery programs
