Job Title: Manager, Commissioning & Integration

Job Type: Temporary (Up to 6 Months)

Location: North Carolina

Summary
The Manager of Commissioning & Integration Services supervises and directs work assignments of employees and/or subcontractors engaged in the installation, maintenance, integration, commissioning, call testing, and repair of radio access nodes and/or core network transmission equipment on operational telecommunications networks  This position is responsible for managing budgets, project timelines, goals, internal staff, and external vendors in accordance with existing contract terms and conditions. The Manager is accountable for achieving project milestones and revenue goals for all assigned projects while ensuring compliance with Company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory agencies.
This position operates with minimal supervision and reports directly to the Director for the assigned geographic area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale projects across multiple markets.
• Create and execute project work plans, revising them as necessary to meet changing business needs and project requirements.
• Oversee all project-related activities.
• Interface daily with clients and management regarding project status.
• Ensure workflow efficiency and timely completion of project milestones.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to project teams while ensuring successful completion of project deliverables and contract compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Interpret contracts, communicate project scope to team members, and develop project schedules and budget forecasts.
• Conduct weekly meetings with project staff to review site progress.
• Oversee project tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate project resources and ensure teams have qualified personnel to perform assigned responsibilities.
• Establish, manage, and control project budgets.
• Minimize Company exposure and project risk.
• Communicate project updates effectively to senior leadership.
• Resolve or escalate project issues in a timely manner.
• Apply Company project methodologies and enforce established project standards.
• Deliver organized and engaging presentations to clients and leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing while monitoring project receivables.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
• Mentor and train project teams in all aspects of assigned responsibilities.
• Supervise field crews to ensure quality workmanship.
• Maintain project records for operational oversight and reporting.
• Plan work assignments and determine appropriate installation and integration techniques.
• Allocate work among employees and subcontractors.
• Determine required materials, equipment, machinery, tools, and supplies.
• Control the flow and distribution of project materials and supplies.
• Promote a safe work environment for employees, subcontractors, and Company property.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include :

• Directing, coordinating, and evaluating project personnel.
• Interviewing, selecting, and training employees and subcontractors.
• Evaluating employee performance and productivity while recommending promotions or other employment actions.
• Handling employee and subcontractor concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Monitoring and implementing legal compliance requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing personnel, including hiring, performance management, scheduling, work allocation, training, and employee development.
• Strong knowledge of the wireless telecommunications industry, including Construction Management, BTS Commissioning, and Integration.
• Ability to maintain complete project awareness and status at all times.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications).
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, consultants, property owners, and internal staff.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, technical manuals, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings (CDs) and RF documentation (CIQ, RFDS, SDCO, etc.) for construction-related activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data, identify issues, and develop sound solutions.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent management experience within the wireless telecommunications industry.
• 3–7 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of cell site commissioning and integration.
• Ericsson C&I Certification.
• Nokia C&I Certification.
• Strong working knowledge of RF wireless technologies and products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Windows applications.
• Working knowledge of vendor EMS platforms.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work day and/or night shifts as required.
