Job PostingJob Summary: Provides professional nursing care to an assigned patient population. Provides nursing leadership for coordination of care given with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate the patient along the continuum.Job Specifications:Required Education: Graduation from an accredited, state-approved, school of nursing.Required Licensure: Current MS RN license or temporary permit for same (valid for 90 days only) or Compact License. Eligible for or currently certified by IBCLC. If not IBCLC certified must obtain certification at first opportunity after the required 1000 hours in lactation assistance have been achieved or 2 years.Required Experience: One-year clinical experience in a hospital as an RN with experience in breastfeeding education.Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Standard nursing principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to interpret physicians' instructions.
