Job Description Job Description Exciting Non-Invasive & Interventional Cardiologist Positions - Waterbury, Connecticut Our organization, a prominent cardiology practice in Connecticut with over 30 years of service to the community, is on the lookout for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our comprehensive treatment center. The team consists of six physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a dedicated nurse call center, all focused on delivering thorough care ranging from preventive measures and non-invasive testing to advanced interventional techniques. This position provides a unique chance to assume a leadership role and influence the direction of our clinical service line. Key clinical responsibilities include delivering direct patient care in both office and hospital settings, conducting inpatient and outpatient consultations, and serving as an educational resource for interns, residents, and students. Additional duties involve seeing patients at our office and affiliated local hospitals, as well as participating in rotational on-call coverage. The role encompasses both general and interventional cardiology, which includes performing cardiac catheterizations, PCI, coronary stent placements, and TAVR procedures. Candidates must possess active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and be board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology upon hiring. Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear is necessary (or in progress), and training in TAVR or a Structural Heart Disease Fellowship is preferred.
