Location: Galax, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients, including administering treatments and managing ventilator support.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including ABGs and assessments of respiratory function.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to establish and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid certification or licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of one year of previous respiratory therapy experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations across all age groups.
