As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.76 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:45 AM - 05:15 PMWed08:45 AM - 05:15 PMThur08:45 AM - 05:15 PMFri08:45 AM - 05:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
