Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary

Oasis Nursing and Rehab of Green Valley is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential by providing occupational therapy services that promote wellness, independence, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
  • Assist occupational therapists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of occupational therapy treatment programs
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Implement and modify occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and equipment, to meet patients' unique needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Document patients' progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, promoting a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
