Seasonal General Labor / Maintenance

Ida Lewis Yacht Club – Newport, RI
October 10 – November 10
$22/hour | 40 hours per week | Possible overtime

Ida Lewis Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to assist our maintenance team with closing the Club for the season. This is a temporary, one-month position involving a variety of general labor and maintenance duties.

Responsibilities include:

Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies into winter storage
Taking apart and storing seasonal equipment
Assisting with hauling and removing docks and waterfront equipment
Painting and basic maintenance projects
General cleanup and other physical labor associated with closing the Club

Requirements:

Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors
Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
Basic maintenance or general labor experience is helpful but not required

Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week from October 10 through November 10, with possible overtime.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
