UX Designer

Seeking a hands-on Design Systems Designer on a contract basis, the full-time position will focus on creating and modernizing a design system with a variable-based token architecture and a documented component library, all while working remotely within a fast-moving design team. Key responsibilities Design and build a structured design system with tokens, theming, and a component library in Figma Develop clear rules and documentation for component usage to facilitate implementation by designers, engineers, and AI coding agents Collaborate with design and engineering stakeholders to enhance the overall velocity and quality of product development Required qualifications Mid-to-senior-level experience in building and maintaining design systems with a focus on tokens and theming Strong digital product design background with an emphasis on design systems work Experience working with AI in the development process Self-directed with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving team environment Proven communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
