Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB.

Additional Details:

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.

Previous Employment Requirements: Staff has to be gone for 6 months before returning as a traveler. From last shift worked to start date

Required Skills/Experience: First-time traveler: Yes, atleast 18 months experience in MedSurg

Floating Requirements: 6 North Trauma Surgical, 5 South Neuroscience, 5 North MedSurg/Oncology, 4 South Clinical Decision Unit, 3 South Orthopedics, 3 North MS/Ortho/Urology’ Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)

10 days maximum time off.
