Senior Land Surveyor

Our key client based in Montgomery County, MD is looking for a Senior Surveyor who wants to lead people, manage projects, and grow within a strong and supportive firm. About the Firm Well-known Land Development Consulting company in the Mid-Atlantic region Focus on surveying, civil engineering, and site development Works on both public and private projects Strong culture that cares about people and the community Team members are encouraged to lead, mentor, and grow What You Will Do Lead survey teams in the field and in the office Manage projects from start to finish Work with clients, engineers, and designers Help train and guide younger staff Make sure projects are accurate, on time, and on budget Key Responsibilities Plan and manage all parts of survey projects Supervise field crews and office technicians Review boundary, ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys Work closely with engineering teams on shared projects Track budgets, schedules, and quality control Check plats, legal descriptions, and right-of-way documents Serve as main contact for clients on survey work Help bring in new technology and better work methods Qualifications Degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field (or similar experience) At least 5 years of land surveying experience Maryland PLS license preferred (LSIT also considered) Experience leading teams and managing projects Skills in Civil 3D, Microstation, Carlson, or similar software Strong communication and client skills Able to balance technical work with business goals Competitive pay with performance bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer support Paid time off and holidays Help with training and education Career growth and leadership opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr 3P CAREERS | CIVIL ENGINEERING | ARCHITECTURE | INTERIOR DESIGN
