Registered Nurse (Transitional Care Unit) - Part Time (Day Shift)

Position Overview Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to work the day shift within the Transitional Care Unit (TCU). The TCU is embedded in and adjacent to the Emergency Department, collaborating in a split flow model to provide high‑quality nursing care to patients admitted but awaiting inpatient beds. Schedule 2, 7a–7p shifts per week with weekend rotation of 3 shifts per 4‑week schedule Key Roles and Responsibilities Provide high-quality, continuous nursing care to patients in the ED awaiting admission. Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast‑paced environment, bridging emergency and inpatient services. May float to any med‑surg or rehab unit. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit. 15 months of RN experience required. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Active NJ RN license required. National Nursing Certification preferred.
