Project Engineer

Primary Objectives for the Position Projects Champion safety Work with the operations management team to develop and prepare concepts, scope, GA, and detail drawings for new plant and optimization projects Develop project budget and schedule to meet target completion dates using internal and external resources where applicable Assist in the development of, and adherence to, design standards. Follow through on project completion and ensure objectives are met. Create and maintain the project schedule. Provide project updates to company leadership. Pre‑qualification of contractors. Preferred Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree with Civil or Structural Engineering background. At least 5 years of project engineering experience and related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment. In depth knowledge with aggregates processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge is desired. Analytical, data focused, and metrics driven. Ability to communicate effectively at the field level and with management. Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Detail orientated. Solves problems in a timely fashion. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze options and present a recommendation based on quantitative information. Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel and Word, and AutoCAD. Primarily office with some field work in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions. Periodic travel and overnight required.
