Our organization is in search of a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to become a part of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at our children's hospital located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Position Overview

The Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive care to patients in pediatric inpatient units.

• Providing services in well-newborn nurseries and same-day medical units.

• Mentoring and supervising medical students and residents.

• Participating in shared call, weekend, and holiday coverage alongside other clinical faculty in the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division.

• Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Staying updated with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Academic & Scholarly Responsibilities

In alignment with the mission of the medical school, candidates will:

• Engage in scholarly activities and outreach efforts.

• Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs.

• Contribute to the education of residents and students.

• Collaborate on relevant research initiatives.

• Undertake additional academic responsibilities as assigned by the Chair of Pediatrics and the Division Director of Hospital Medicine, who will act as a mentor.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.

• Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

• Eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.

Compensation

• $120/hour - Weekdays

• $150/hour - Weekends

The compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
