Production Employee – Fresh For more than 76 years, Spice World has been passionate about bringing everyone a world full of flavor, year-round. As a Production Employee in the Fresh Department, you will be responsible for sorting and packaging fresh products while keeping the work area clean and safe. Preparing, moving boxes for production. Stagging pallets with boxes for production line as per production schedule. Sweeping and maintaining work area clean. Report all defects, violations, line/equipment malfunction and issues to line leader. Sorting and packaging good garlic, shallots and discarding as per production schedule. Use ERP Parity Mobile to track work orders and inventories. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Availability to work five days, eight hour shifts from Monday to Friday and overtime hours as needed. This is a second shift position. Availability to work on weekends as per production schedule. Must be able to lift 10-pound boxes regularly. Education and Experience High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required. Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. Willingness to work overtime and/or Saturdays. Abilities and Skills Strong commitment to company goals and values. Friendly and positive attitude. Good communicator and listener.
