Position Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing the surgical area, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently handing off instruments during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Significant clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current state licensure (or eligible) as a Physician Assistant
