Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview of Accounts Payable Role:

Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently
Enter invoices and maintain accurate accounts payable records
Review invoices for proper approvals and supporting documentation
Assist with weekly check runs and vendor payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questions
Assist with month-end close and AP-related reporting
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
Provide general accounting support as needed

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

1+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
