Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description We are hiring a QA/QC Support Specialist for an onsite role in the Bronx, NY! Details $45 - $55 per hour pay rate Full Time Contract - 6 months Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm M-F Hybrid - 4 days in office per week Benefits Health, Dental, Vision insurance offered 401k options Work with a great team Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using ESRI ArcMap Proficient in MXD creation, spatial queries, and spatial analysis Strong knowledge of GIS concepts and ESRI platform tools Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Schneider Electric ArcFM platform Experience working with ESRI GIS platforms Experience supporting GIS software implementation projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment of geospatial tools and systems Familiarity with IT project management principles, particularly related to data quality assurance and system integration Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project Ability to collaborate effectively with GIS analysts, developers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams Understanding of change management processes and user support during technology implementations and upgrades Familiarity with utility mapping systems and gas infrastructure networks Ability to interpret gas maps, utility drawings, and technical documentation Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in technical environments Responsibilities Support GIS software implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, and deployment Apply IT project management principles related to data quality assurance and system integration Utilize project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, and Microsoft Project Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams Support change management initiatives and end-user adoption during system implementations and upgrades Work with utility mapping systems and gas infrastructure networks Interpret gas maps, utility drawings, and technical documentation Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in technical environments Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants requiring work authorization or visas for the positions currently available.
