About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 21 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of three years critical care experience preferred License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Strong neuro critical care experience Proficient in intravenous drip titration Ability to manage ventilators Telemetry monitoring skills Experience in conscious sedation and dysrhythmia management Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Intensive Care Unit. This position requires the ability to work three 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units, including stepdown and emergency departments, is required. Candidates must have a strong background in neuro critical care, including experience with post-neurosurgical patients, EVD, and stroke management. Ventilator management and IV drip titration skills are essential. Candidates must be proficient in telemetry monitoring and emergency management. The ideal nurse will have experience in a variety of critical care scenarios, such as respiratory failure, renal failure, trauma, and sepsis. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, along with completion of NIH Stroke Scale training. Please note that candidates with a history of license issues will not be considered. Strong candidates who may have less than three years of experience could be considered. Travel experience is preferred for this role.
